Elegant American Gel Nails – Gel nail polish is a gel which comes in a bottle or pot. The gel fluid is painted into the nail in precisely the way that nail polish is, but it is simpler as it’s self levelling and you won’t leave brush strokes. Each coat of gloss is cured under a LED lamp for 15 to 60 minutes or a UV lamp for 2 to three minutes (depending on the gloss lamp and brand).
This curing process sets the gel into a good condition. The polish does not dry until it goes beneath the lamp, so any slips are much easier to rectify. After healing, the gel gloss is totally hard, but may have a layer ready to bond to another layer. Additional coats can be applied after each layer is cured.

Gel polish is not bad for your natural nails. Reports of nail damage from gel gloss can be very common but removal usually causes that — for example if gloss is pulled/picked off or nails are scraped during the elimination procedure.
To keep nails healthy, it’s a great idea to apply cuticle oil to your nails after each removal process (this applies to regular nail polish too). Cuticle oil will help to nourish the nail bed and promote strong growth. If you are applying a different gel manicure straight off you don’t apply the cuticle oil before afterwards.
