Lovely Artistic Gel Nails – Gel nail polish is a liquid gel which usually comes in a bottle or pot. The gel fluid is painted to the nail in the same way that regular nail polish is, but it is easier you won’t leave brush strokes and as it’s self levelling. Each coat of polish is treated under a LED lamp for 15 to 60 seconds or a UV lamp for 2 to three minutes (based on the polish lamp and brand).
This process sets the gel. The gloss does not dry until it goes beneath the lamp, therefore any slips are much more easy to rectify. After curing, the gel gloss is completely hard, but will have a sticky layer left, ready to bond into another layer. Additional coats may be applied after every layer is treated.

Gel polish is not bad for your natural nails. Reports of nail harm from gel gloss can be common but this is usually brought on by elimination — such as if gloss is pulled/picked off or nails are scraped during the removal process.
To keep nails healthy, it’s a great idea to apply cuticle oil into your nails after each removal process (this applies to regular nail polish also). Cuticle oil will help to nourish the nail bed and encourage growth. If you are applying another gel manicure straight away you don’t apply the cuticle oil until later.
