New Shellac Gel Nails – Gel nail polish is a gel which comes in a bottle or pot. The gel liquid is painted to the nail in precisely the same way that regular nail polish is, but it’s easier as it levelling and you won’t leave brush strokes. Each coat of polish is cured under a LED lamp for 15 to 60 minutes or a UV lamp for two to three minutes (based on the gloss lamp and brand).
This procedure sets the gel. The polish does not dry until it goes under the lamp, therefore any slips are much more easy to rectify. After healing, the gel gloss is totally hard, but will have a layer ready to bond into the layer. Additional coats may be applied after every layer is cured.

Gel polish isn’t bad for your natural nails. Reports of nail harm from gel polish can be common if polish is pulled/picked off but that is often brought on by removal — such as or nails are scraped during the elimination process.
To keep nails healthy, it is a good idea to apply cuticle oil to your nails after each removal process (this applies to normal nail polish also). Cuticle oil will help to nourish the nail bed and encourage growth. If you are applying another gel manicure straight off that you don’t use the oil before afterwards.
