Inspirational Zebra Gel Nail Designs – Gel nail polish is a gel which comes in pot or a jar. The gel liquid is painted to the nail in the way that nail polish is, but it is simpler as it is self levelling and you won’t leave brush strokes. Each coat of polish is cured under a LED lamp for 15 to 60 seconds or a UV lamp for 2 to three minutes (based on the polish brand and lamp).
This curing procedure sets the gel. The polish doesn’t dry until it moves under the lamp, therefore any slips are significantly more easy to rectify. After curing, the gel polish is hard, but will have a sticky layer left, prepared to bond to another layer. Additional coats may be applied after each layer is cured.

Gel polish is not bad for your natural nails. Reports of nail damage from gel gloss can be common but removal often causes this — such as if polish is pulled/picked off or nails are scraped during the elimination procedure.
To keep nails healthy, it is a great idea to apply cuticle oil to your nails after every removal process (this applies to regular nail polish also). Cuticle oil helps to nourish the nail bed and promote strong growth. If you’re applying a different gel manicure right off — make sure that you don’t apply the cuticle oil before later.
